Online Video Content
Video content is an vital means of communication now. From FaceTime to Snap to those muted memes in your Facebook feed, quick and fun videos are an effective way to build community and increase engagement. I wrote and co-produced a series of videos for the LA chapter under the "AIGA Studios" moniker. This content proved highly effective during the 2016 Spring Membership Drive as well as future membership presentations. These videos were also selected to open the 2016 AIGA Leadership Retreat in Raleigh, NC.
The great thing about AIGA LA's brand blueprint is that it allows for a bit of wit. When I'm extending the brand language, birthed from Kiss Me I'm Polish and refined by Ferroconcrete, I add humor whenever I get the chance.
These letter-sized orientation handbooks came in handy for new and returning board members alike at the LA chapter. When I shared these handbooks with fellow chapter leaders at the Leadership Retreats in Grand Rapids, MI and Raleigh, NC, the demand for copies was so high that I packaged my files and shared with all the chapters. Happy to solve a relatively small problem like this one so that chapters big and small can focus on the real prize: engaging and supporting its members.
For the national Fall and Spring membership drives, I worked closely with Social Media Co-Director Sebabatso Matseletsele to write, design, and schedule drive incentive announcements during the 5-day campaign. For the 2016 Fall Drive, I created additional assets for our Google Design SPAN Conference giveaway, a chapter exclusive, and I also integrated Mailchimp into the campaign to encourage user-generated leads to our drive content.
